frequently asked questions

How does a logo, submark, alternate logo, and favicon differ?

Primary Logo: This is your main logo that will be used on most of your marketing materials including your website, print, social media, etc. Submark: This is a minimalistic version of your main logo that acts similarly to a watermark. It provides cohesion in your branding without overdoing your main logo. Alternate Logo: This is a variation of your primary logo. It typically incorporates all of the same elements as your main logo, but is arranged differently. Favicon: This tiny icon hangs out in your browser tabs. It shows up beside your company name in the tab bar when someone is on your website. Read a more detailed explanation of each of these items here.
